City Park School Receives $5,000 Donation from New Burlington Store

DALTON, Ga. – Dalton Public Schools and City Park School are proud to announce that City Park has received a $5,000 donation from Burlington Stores, in partnership with the national nonprofit AdoptAClassroom.org, to celebrate the grand opening of Burlington’s new Dalton location at 1335 W Walnut Ave.

The generous donation will be used to purchase classroom supplies and resources that directly support students and teachers at City Park School, ensuring that every classroom is equipped with the tools needed for meaningful learning and engagement.

A representative from AdoptAClassroom.org collaborated with Dalton Public Schools and City Park administrators to secure the donation, which will provide vital resources for classrooms across the school.

ā€œWe are incredibly grateful for Burlington’s generous gift and the support of AdoptAClassroom.org,ā€ said City Park School Principal Kim Rhyne. ā€œThis donation allows our teachers to purchase some additional materials that will spark creativity, strengthen learning, and enhance the classroom experience for our students. We are so thankful for Burlington’s investment in our school and in the children of Dalton.ā€

As part of Burlington’s community giving initiative, every new store opening includes the adoption and funding of local classrooms through their partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. The company’s mission is to add value to the communities where they operate by supporting education and empowering students and teachers to thrive.

The new Dalton Burlington store is now open, offering brand-name apparel and home goods for the entire family at everyday low prices.
