Four adults stand together smiling in a school meeting or gym space. Three women hold black-and-white soccer balls labeled ā€œDalton Game Ball,ā€ while a man on the far left wears a light button-down shirt and a Dalton Public Schools ID badge. The women are dressed in business-casual attire, and the group stands in front of beige block walls, a stage area, and a large display screen.

DALTON, Ga. — Dalton Public Schools is proud to announce the Game Ball winners for the month of May. Superintendent Steven Craft launched the Game Ball recognition program to honor staff members who exemplify the district’s four core values from Culturize by Jimmy Casas: expecting excellence, carrying the banner, being a merchant of hope and being a champion for students.

The Game Ball Awards recognize employees whose work supports the entire district rather than a single school building. These individuals work behind the scenes to ensure the district operates efficiently and responsibly in service of students, staff and families.
