DALTON, Ga.  ā€” Dalton Public Schools Work-Based Learning has been named a recipient of the JA Volunteer Partner Milestone Award for the 2025-2026 school year by Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia.

The award recognizes companies, organizations, and schools that recruited 100 or more volunteers in a single year across JA of Georgia's programs, including JA BizTown, JA Finance Park, and 3DE by JA. Twenty-one organizations across JA reached this milestone for the past school year.

"Because of partners like Dalton Public Schools, more and more students in Georgia gain the skills, confidence, and experiences they need to thrive," JA of Georgia shared in announcing the honor.

"Earning this milestone means more than 100 community members chose to invest their time in our students," said Superintendent Dr. Steven Craft. "We are immensely grateful to our Work-Based Learning team for building those partnerships, and to Junior Achievement of Georgia for this recognition."

JA BizTown and JA Finance Park give students real-world experience with business, personal finance, and career decision-making, while 3DE by JA connects classroom learning to real workplace challenges. Volunteers play an essential role in making these experiences possible.
