To update telephone numbers & email addresses: feel free to simply email our enrollment center at enrollment@dalton.k12.ga.us.
To update your address: You MUST come to the Enrollment Center, which is back up and running, at 101 N Thornton Ave., Dalton, GA 30470. A parent/guardian will need to bring: a valid picture I.D. and proof of address with your name and physical address on it, no older than 3 months old. (Accepted documents are utility bills (cable, electric, gas, water, landline telephone bill, or a lease agreement.)
Park Creek School - Serving, Learning, Leading is now a native seed production site for the Georgia Native Seed Network!
On June 14, 2024, a team of volunteers came out to help with the planting, representing GADNR, GPCA volunteers, Dalton Public Schools, Birds Georgia, United Way, local community members, the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, and the Southeastern Grasslands Institute.
In five hours, volunteers installed over 1,300 plants. "Thank you!” to everyone who volunteered their time and resources. The plant material produced here will be of great benefit to restoration projects in Northwest Georgia by supplying locally sourced native seeds.
Today, our rising Pre-K and Kindergarten Summer Transition Program students celebrated “Mooooving” into a new school year! We can’t wait to see all that they accomplish this year.

We're excited to welcome you back for another fantastic year! As approved this spring by the board of education, we would like to remind our community of the new start and end times for the 2024-2025 school year.
· High Schools: 7:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.
· Middle Schools (HCMS and DJHS): 8:05 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
· Elementary Schools: 8:30 a.m. - 3:25 p.m.
Drop-off for elementary students will begin at 7:45 a.m. Drop-off for middle school students will begin at 7:30 a.m. Drop-off for high school students will begin at 6:45 a.m.
School supply lists are now available in English and Spanish on our Back to School Information page on our website! Please note, eighth graders and above will receive their lists from their teachers on the first day of school.
