Dalton High School Players Sweep 2025 Georgia High School Musical Theatre Award Nominations On Thursday, March 20 the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards (GHMSTA), or Shuler Awards, announced the finalists and semi-finalists for their 2025 awards ceremony. Out of the 75 schools competing, the Dalton High School Players’ production of Hadestown: Teen Edition received finalist nominations in nine categories, three semi-finalist nominations, and two honorable mentions out of the 15 categories. City Park School Celebrates Women’s History Month: Students at City Park School recently celebrated Women's History Month with lessons highlighting the contributions of women throughout history. First grade English Language Learner (ELL) teacher Rigo Gonzalez led his students through a month's worth of lessons surrounding the achievements of women from around the world. These lessons culminated in City Park’s annual women’s march.

This incredible honor places them among the top academic performers in the entire nation—less than 1% of high school seniors reach this level. After months of hard work, strong academics, essays, and national test scores, CenCen and Hope are now in the running for prestigious college scholarships.
