Darian holds his winning design from the HCMS Hispanic Heritage Month T-Shirt Design Contest. The design will be featured on this year's Hispanic Heritage Month shirt.

🎙️ Big news from Hammond Creek!

We're excited to celebrate Ayo Ilesanmi, whose original audio project, Addressed to Heaven, has been published by Georgia Public Broadcasting's Student Voices Collective.

What's even more impressive? Ayo created the project during Mrs. Barmore's Intro to Communications class simply because she had something to say, not because it was an assignment for a grade.

Although the submission window for the 2025-2026 school year had already closed, her work was selected as the first Student Voices Collective publication of the 2026-2027 school year!

Congratulations, Ayo, on sharing your voice and representing Hammond Creek in such a meaningful way.
