Thank you for everything you do for our students and staff each and every day. Your care and dedication make a difference. Westwood loves you! ❤️🐾🩺

Students have been working hard on their composition projects in music the past few weeks!
Each grade had specific guidelines to create their own songs from scratch using GarageBand on the iPads.
Kindergarten created a song based off of music and emotions.
1st and 2nd grade created a song based on music genres.
3rd, 4th, and 5th grades created a film score to a clip from Back to the Future.
Each student became a composer throughout this process recording instruments, DJ equipment, sound effects, and even lyrics for some grades! Great job, Wildcats! 🎶🎸🐾

Join us this Wednesday, May 6, for our Garden Club Plant Sale! Our Wildcats have been working hard and are excited to share a variety of plants with you.

The farm came to school and our Pre-K students had so much fun. 🐄🐐🐓
As part of their learning about farm animals, students were able to make real-world connections by seeing and interacting with the animals up close. They explored what animals need to live and learned about what they provide for us.
It was a hands-on experience full of excitement, curiosity, and meaningful learning! 🐾
