We are excited to celebrate our students’ dedication and achievements with our upcoming Brain Boosters—a special reward for all their hard work this school year!

Throughout the week, each grade level will report to the playground during their regularly scheduled specials time (except on the day of their awards ceremony). Students will have the opportunity to enjoy extended outdoor time with their entire grade level—a fun way to relax, connect, and celebrate together.

To make things even more exciting, we will have an inflatable slide for students to enjoy as they “slide right into summer!” This special addition has been made possible thanks to student participation and purchases from our Book Fairs, Santa Shop, and PAWp Up Shop—thank you for your continued support!

Please help your child come prepared each day by ensuring they wear comfortable clothing and appropriate shoes for the playground.

We’re looking forward to a fun and memorable week for all!

Our awards day season officially kicks off this Tuesday with our first awards ceremony, but we wanted to begin the celebration early by recognizing one of our students for an incredible honor he recently received.

We are incredibly proud to recognize Luis Prieto for receiving the Rotary Club of Dalton’s “Charlie Bowen Service Above Self” Award for the 2025–2026 school year!

This special honor is awarded to one fifth-grade student from each school who demonstrates selfless service, kindness, compassion, and a willingness to cheerfully help teachers, classmates, and others. Students are selected not for academics or athletics, but for the character they show each day and the positive impact they make on those around them.

Luis was recognized as the overall winner during the Rotary Club of Dalton’s annual student awards luncheon held at the Dalton Golf & Country Club, where outstanding students from across Dalton Public Schools, Whitfield County Schools, and Christian Heritage School were celebrated.

We are so proud of Luis for representing our school with such integrity, leadership, and heart. Congratulations, Luis, on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you to the Rotary Club of Dalton for investing in and honoring students who truly live out the meaning of “Service Above Self.”
